This is the one and only single I have heard by The Telegents but it's great It's another one that's on Gary Crowleys Punk and New Wave Box Set and it's another killer powerpop/punk ditty
Ch-ch-check this out (and I'd be amazed if Andy doesn't know it already)...
The Telegents - Get Out (1981)
There's another song on YouTube, their second single which is also pretty good but not Get Out levels of good
According to Discogs that's the extent of their output...
The Telegents - Seen It Before! (1982)

Of course... the elephant in room regarding The greatest pop punk groups debate is Green Day. Just the mention of their name as guaranteed to get the 'Over 50s Punks' cursing and spitting, waving their zimmer frames in the air and muttering about them being a 'Boy Band' without knowing anything about their history and the scene they were very much part of.
As a Punk Rock obssesso, i picked up on them right from when they released their first 4 track e.p. in 1989. The pressing i have of it was only 200 copies. I had no idea that 5 years later they would become one of the biggest bands on the planet.

J CHURCH - San Francisco Punk band that between 1992 to 2007 released a veritable Tsunami of records... one of the most prolific bands ever! I tried to keep up with their myriad of releases but in the end, gave up... they seemed to put a record out every month.
The band ended with the death of frontman Lance Hahn... but they left behind a tonnage of great recordings

J Church released so much music, on so many different labels in different countries, it gets bloody confusing, but i have most of it, either on vinyl or CD. The UK Labels Damaged Goods and Rugger Bugger Discs licensed some of the best of it...
