IGNORE HEROES - True Sounds Of Liberty (Documentary) FINALLY i got round to seeing this superb film this week. Directed by vocalist Jack Grisham, with candid interviews with guitarist Ron Emory, Bass player Mike Roche and keyboard player Greg Kuehn. It breaks the mould of the usual 'Rockumentary' in that Jack narrates the story of the band in the style of a small stage comedian in some sleazy late night bar, wise cracking to an audience of authority figures, religious and the law. Over the stretch of just over two and half hours, you get the lowdown on the bands formation, their records and their most notorious gigs that often ended in riots, plus tales from their knuckle ride adventures across America, bringing "Civilisation To The Barbarians" An amazing and influential band, that defied the odds and somehow survived despite the rampant hedonism, violence and self destruction of those times.

Well worth watching, even if you are not a fan of the band, as Jack is very charismatic, he has lived and extraordinary life and it's good to hear from the rest of the band too. It's remarkable that Jack, Ron and Mike are still alive. I think you can rent it to watch online.
