Obvious....but still, undeniably, a good un.... The Professionals - 1-2-3Yes, it's a great song. If you like that, then you'll probably like this too

...yeah, i've always assumed that came about through Jonesey working with The Avengers on their classic e.p. from 1979
He definately made them sound rather 'Pistoly' in one or two songs

Saw them support the Ruts a few years ago
The Factory is a pretty small venue within the HQ Factory Records had in the 90s

They were briefly on the Crucial Talent roster and the booking cost seemed very reasonable but when I sounded out the Scarborough locals there wasn't much interest without Jonesy in the line up. |

i have pre-ordered the vinyl of the new album... will have to wait till the spring of 2022 for that to arrive though, but have been listening to the downloads... sounds ROCKIN' to me. Don't think any of their celeb friends are playing on this one. Cover art is lovely. Vocalist Tom Spencer is a very skilled stain glass artist.  |
