Steve Jones, doesn't like the "I Didn't See it Coming" album they finally released. It wasn't a particularly happy time for him anyway, as he was slipping into a bad drug habit. The album had too much of a 'Pop Production' to it.... here is the original version of that classic song... with the requisite Bollocks to it...

'Little Boys in Blue' has some great lyrics.๐
The Professionals were easily the best of the post Pistols bands๐

The Professionals sound was really heavy. Jones was and is some player ๐

Their 'comeback album' What In The World was one of my favourite records from 2017, and although Jonesey plays guitar on one or two songs, they proved they could ROCK without him...

It's a good record but without Jones the current band are just a different kettle of fish altogether.
Not that this is a bad thing as the original band were just a reflection of the turmoil of what Jones(and Myers)were going through at the time.
I suppose that's what honest music is about though isn't it ? Conveying those feelings and transmitting them.
One other thing. Watching the 'Just Another Dream' video the other night and I thought'Andy Allen doesn't look that bad'.
Back in 1980 I thought he didn't fit at all but everyone was 'hardcore'at the time and we were just really kids so what did we know?
It's still a knockout tune, heavy, heavy heavy guitar sound.
