He might have seen my band, we supported them occasionally. The second best new wave outfit in Hampshire was Catch 22, some of whom went on to bigger things in The Men They Couldn't Hang

Mutants - Boss Man [Liverpool, 1977]
More old-style rock than punk, perhaps, but the band is reported to have had a far greater I-couldn't-give-a-shit-what-you-think attitude than many of their spikier cousins. Read more about them here: www.punk77.co.uk/groups/mutants.htm
God, I have a copy of that single.

Here's an absolute KBD Punk CLASSIC i wish somebody would repress, getting an original is pretty much impossible and i'd probably have to sell a kidney if i found a copy...

...The Pigs reformed about 10 years ago and played a couple of gigs in Bristol... including 2 with my band. The second one, we were both on the bill with The Lurkers. As teenagers they had a manic scratchy sound but as older guys they were more mid-tempo R'N'B ...kinda like The Cortinas and The Feelgoods

...yes, that is ACE - more Power Pop than Punk - hope someone represses it. Not surprised it goes for that much these days
