Great tune shame about the clobber, no Seditionaries in Glasgow? They also did this which made it onto the fabulous Streets compilation.

...all three tracks on that e.p. are good'uns - it's on my 'wants list' in picture sleeve. The Exile e.p. is included in full on the Short Sharp Shock compilation CD of rare first wave punk. This gem is also on that CD...

Today's nugget, whilst pretty flipping derivative (strong echoes of Radar Love), and not all that punky, it still has a certain no nonsense appeal...
Left Hand Drive - 'Jailbait'

Got a feeling Andy LS will be all over this one
The Tea Set's Parry Thomas from 1979
Vocals are v similar to Colin Newman
Art students apparently - who would have thought it?
Straight outta Watford and a bit of a gem, a nugget if you will...

In theory, i saw The Tea Set at the Futurama Festival in the summer of 1981... but to be honest, as that's now over 40 years ago and so many bands played ...i can't remember them at all. Shame as that's a good song.

Here's today's pop-tastic nugget from Wales which I recently came across on one of the Bored Teenagers comps...

Came across this enjoyable ditty on Teenage Treats vol 1. Aussie group Razar and their Idle Rich...
Razar - Idle Rich
It sez here....
Razar formed in Brisbane in late 1977 out of the ashes of two high school cover dance bands- "Crossroads" and "Royal Bandit"

Thanks for the clarification Andy. Great tune by the Brisbane group.
I did wonder if there were two bands. Such an unusual name though it seemed odd for two separate groups to have chosen it.

Interestingly Idle Rich Razar had an Aussie singer called Grant Stevens I reckon he must have brought the Razar name over with him - he also seems to have ripped off Brisbane Razar's logo too (at least if the photo on Discogs is accurately showing Brisbane Razar but they may be using an inaccurate photo)

The b side to Stamp Out is class too, the Oink, Oink noises at the end are hilarious. Many years ago Blitzkrieg Bob sent me a double CD comp called Punkers Down Under, Victim also feature. Can't see it available on the web but if you ever come across it, give it ago. Do The Pop is also a great Aussie comp, Saints, Screaming Trees,Radio Birdman etc
