Grant Stevens was also in poppy Glamsters Soho Jets
Had a couple of singles, Hi Heel Tarzan and Denim Goddess, neither sounds especially good with Denim Goddess having the edge. It might even be a bit of a grower....

The b side to Stamp Out is class too, the Oink, Oink noises at the end are hilarious. Many years ago Blitzkrieg Bob sent me a double CD comp called Punkers Down Under, Victim also feature. Can't see it available on the web but if you ever come across it, give it ago. Do The Pop is also a great Aussie comp, Saints, Screaming Trees,Radio Birdman etc Thanks PU I'll look out for those comps

Thanks for the clarification Andy. Great tune by the Brisbane group. I did wonder if there were two bands. Such an unusual name though it seemed odd for two separate groups to have chosen it. There is a connection (band members) between the UK/Oz band 'Razar' you posted and this early 70s Proto Punk/Bovver Rock band Third World War, that Pete Townsend worked with on Track Records, best known for this classic!

Meanwhile, there is a two volume bootleg Murder Punk that is really worth checking out for early Oz punk. Maybe this is the one you mean PU?

Yeah, they are the ones JSM. They came to me as CDRs and whoever recorded them in the UK gave them a different title. Are they an official release over in Oz? as the Discogs link says they are banned from sale.

Some enterprising individual has them for sale on Ebay at £14.99 each plus post, worth a punt.

They are really good

If Volume 2 is blocked for sale it wouldn't surprise me that any attempt to purchase Vol 1 would flag up a blocking too. Happened to me when trying to by Northern Soul reboots.

Do you know who owns the rights? And why they don't do anything with them? It would be an undertaking to find out all the copyright holders, even an established organisation like Cherry Red sometimes puts something out without checking with the original artist/writer. Whoever compiled these was imo not motivated by money, more of a 'people got to hear these tunes' reasoning. Discogs eventually blocks anything unofficial, even if the artist has given it their blessing. I can see their point of view, however, as they could be sued by an aggrieved party as they would be complicit in facilitating the sale of an unofficial item.
