Do you know who owns the rights? And why they don't do anything with them? It would be an undertaking to find out all the copyright holders, even an established organisation like Cherry Red sometimes puts something out without checking with the original artist/writer. Whoever compiled these was imo not motivated by money, more of a 'people got to hear these tunes' reasoning. Discogs eventually blocks anything unofficial, even if the artist has given it their blessing. I can see their point of view, however, as they could be sued by an aggrieved party as they would be complicit in facilitating the sale of an unofficial item. Interesting - thanks PU

A lot of the material on the two CDs has received official re-release. I do recall Dave Faulkner of The Victims had been aggrieved about bootlegs. Not sure if he cares any more

Everyone should have a copy of Do The Pop, first time I heard the Hoodoo Guru's, one of my favourite Oz combos and this below by the Screaming Tribesmen is Ripper.....
