Still listen to NMTHB and the Swindle every now and again.
History has been kinder to Cook, Jones and Matlock.
The 'King of Punk' conversely is one big fraud.
In their day they were the most influential band ever, NO doubt about it.

I do like Sid's cover versions though
The Pistols said it all the NMTB

He didn't feature much in the Jones book which made the whole Pistols story and Jones part in the band even more riveting.
Let's just hope it doesn't turn into some 'Sid and Nancy' cartoon punk thing.
If Danny Boyle sticks to the spirit of the Jones book hopefully shouldn't.
