England's Dreaming is still the best book on early UK punk and the Pistols Must give it a reread - it's been decades Seem to remember it being good but a bit up it's own arse if you know what I mean. Trying to intellectualise everything.

It's actually a really good, candid and (in places) funny interview - Glen is really relaxed as he is friends with Gary Kemp Sold. I'll give it a listen Thanks Andy I really really enjoyed that Glen interview So much better than I was expecting My only complaint, it was way too short

Great interview especially as Kemp and Pratt really know their stuff.

Didn't they legally deprive Nightingale of royalties for Did You No Wrong ?
By the way did you notice Glen getting a bit ratty in the interview? I think it was when he was asked why he left or what he wrote or played on Never Mind the Bollocks.

Teenage Sex Pistol is a required read if you want to get another angle away from Jones and Rotten. However, for me it doesn't stick in the mind like Lonely Boy or No Irish because Glen wasn't as much a character as Steve or Johnny.

I got the updated version of Glen's book aswell that includes the reunion
At one point he is in some kind of difficulty in America and Lydon helps him , which he seems surprised about

One of the few bits I remember from Matlock's book is that the day after Grundy, his Mum at work gets renamed Mrs Sex Pistol. You'd think that would be funny but it causes such a rift in the Matlock household, his Dad doesn't speak to him for a year.

He's got a perfect right to be pissed off but it looks like Jones must have sold the rights to his book so doubt there's much he can do. Can't be worse than the Alex Cox one. can it?
