I think that's Topper in one of the pictures and he joined the Clash in 1977 (of course he could have been at the Roundhouse gigs as a "hangaround"?) Looks like Keith Levene to me It is. I thought that too.

It's strange how Johnny gets so much credit over the Ramones when he was probably the least talented and pretty unpleasant. Dee Dee was the great songwriter and Joey the voice, you could almost say that Johnny was very lucky to be there. But then again it was his "bloody mindedness" and seargent major rules that probably kept them going. Felt really sorry for Joey reading some of the stories of his nasty OCD.
