Slade - Sladest This came in yesterday, lovely condition for nearly a fifty year old album. Most of the hits on it but this is the one that always blows me away. Originally a movie tune for fictional band Max Frost and the Troopers but the Wolverhampton lads stamp their boots all over it. Fortunately there were no customers in as the stylus reached this track, so I cranked it up and made the windows rattle. Great album - great tune Love Slade

That Devo post has sent me off into their discography It's all about Oh, No! It's Devo (1982) at the moment... Devo's co-founder and bass guitarist Gerald Casale stated that the album was born out of critical reviews in which the band were alternately described as both "fascists" and "clowns." In response, the group decided to make an album that would answer the question, "what would an album by fascist clowns sound like?"

Martin Stephenson & The Daintees – Salutation Road (1990) I've been a fan of Martin Stephenson since Boat to Boliva came out in 1986. He's still out there doing his loveable thing. Salutation Road was recorded in America but is still preoccupied with his Geordie roots Anyone else know it? Or dig Martin?

I stand corrected, must have been the order I bought them in. Wholly Humble Heart featured in a gay rights of passage movie but the title escapes me, anyone?

Don't think I've ever seen that film PU - I'm sure I would have noticed if I'd seen it
