Suella Braverman 2018: “We are engaged in a war against cultural marxism. We're engaged in a battle against socialism.”
Cultural Marxism is widely seen as an antisemitic dog whistle.
Wonder if her great grandfather was in that Indian Waffen SS unit.😁😁
Repulsive sack of 💩💩💩

Attacking anyone who challenges their political and economic hegemony.

No he doesn't The only difference of opinion between you both is that Doug does not support completely open borders He has not stated he is against people moving here from other countries To compare his posts to the scaremongering of Powell is completely inappropriate and inaccurate

No surprises there. 12 years of failure, lies, corruption and incompetence have shown them for what they are All they've got left is far right rhetoric and dog whistle politics

Doug believes in the repatriation of asylum seekers who he deems not meet the financial criteria set by him. I've asked him on many occasions what this financial criteria is and he's yet to respond. He also believes in the 'resettlement' of asylum seekers and refugees outside of the Southeast of England so that other' areas can take their fair share' so that it doesn't breed resentment. Again, no criteria, just a blanket statement. Who the fuck is he? The British Home Office? A current Tory minister wouldn't have any problem with this so called analysis. Look at at absorb these pieces of information. We've been arguing about this for months now He echoes Powell insofar that he'll use asylum seeks and immigrants as a bogeyman regardless of where they come from and why. It begs the question more so. Why are you defending him when he's big and ugly to speak for himself? Utterly bizarre.

I was going to leave the board because of it, but thought, "why should I ?". Everyone else can read what I have posted and I am happy to let every post stand for itself, my beliefs are quite clear no matter how much he deliberately misinterprets them.

Board'bullying'😄
Grow up ffs. We've all had disagreements on here over the years as Politician will testify.
That includes, myself the Moderator and other posters who haven't agreed with him.
I've put forward political opinions on here which counter yours.
The problem is that you don't like anyone challenging you on them. It couldn't be any clearer.
And I will reiterate again, if you post racist opinions in here I will continue to challenge them(as I have done with Politician)
If you want to leave, leave but stop whinging because someone challenges your right wing opinions.

How low have the Tories sunk.... Suella Braverman was warned ‘hate speech’ could inspire far rightSenior lawyers had told home secretary about risks of inflammatory rhetoric long before she referred to asylum seekers as an ‘invasion’ The home secretary, Suella Braverman, who last week caused outrage by referring to asylum seekers entering the UK as an “invasion”, had been warned by government lawyers that inflammatory immigration rhetoric risked inspiring a far-right terror attack.
Braverman’s comments came just one day after a man with links to the far right threw firebombs at a Dover immigration centre. On Saturday, counter-terrorism police announced they had found evidence that the attack was motivated by an “extreme rightwing” terrorist ideology.Rest here... www.theguardian.com/politics/2022/nov/06/suella-braverman-was-warned-hate-speech-could-inspire-far-rightMeanwhile The Times reveals... Suella Braverman was ‘warned again and again’ over migrant crisis at Manston The home secretary is accused of misleading MPs. Taxpayers could face a £10,000 bill for each person illegally heldSuella Braverman has been accused of misleading parliament over the migrant crisis after leaked documents showed she was warned repeatedly about unlawfully detaining people.
Last weekend, The Sunday Times disclosed that the home secretary was suspected of ignoring legal advice that asylum seekers were being held at the Manston processing centre in Kent for too long and needed to be moved urgently. On Monday, she told the Commons that she had never “ignored legal advice” and had pushed to “deliver a rapid increase in emergency accommodation”. Officials now fear that taxpayers could be liable for compensation running at £10,000 per illegally detained migrant.
However, leaked papers sent to Home Office ministers and senior officials in September and October show government lawyers and officials growing increasingly exasperated at the rapidly worsening situation at Manston. By the time Braverman was sacked as home secretary in mid-October, it had become overwhelmed, with almost 300 migrants detained illegally and the risk of disease and disorder escalating.
The papers show she was presented with advice and options to move migrants from Manston. These were reissued to her over weeks as concerns in the Home Office mounted that an increasing number of migrants were held illegally.
Sources allege this shows that she did not act on what she was being told. They believe the papers also contradict parts of her statement in parliament, including her assurances she never ignored legal advice. “She knowingly, wantonly and deliberately, even after receiving advice, failed to act to bring the Home Office back within the law,” one said.
Last night a Home Office spokesman said: “Claims that the home secretary blocked the use of hotels, or deliberately ignored advice, are categorically untrue. Any claims that legal advice was ignored by the home secretary are also categorically untrue. At all times legal and operational advice was taken into account, and options were sought to alleviate the pressure at Manston, including the booking of hotels.”
Yesterday hundreds of foreign criminals and failed asylum seekers awaiting deportation had to be moved out of an immigration removal centre near Heathrow after a power failure. The evacuation of Harmondsworth detention centre came after riot police were called to the site on Friday night amid reports that around 100 detainees — some carrying makeshift weapons — had left their rooms and were involved in a “disturbance” in the centre’s courtyard.
No one escaped from the all-male facility, according to the Home Office, but the continued loss of power yesterday meant that residents had to be bussed out to alternative locations.
Robert Jenrick, the immigration minister, said: “There was disruption overnight at Harmondsworth immigration removal centre after a loss of power. Thankfully no staff working or individuals detained there were hurt, despite clear evidence of unacceptable levels of violence and disorder. The priority now is to move people to other centres while engineers fix the power fault and repair any damage.

They would never admit but the Tories will be rooting for Republican gains in the US on Tuesday. This will give them a supposed legitimacy to move further to the right with inflammatory words and actions.
It's a bizarre UK at the moment from the likes of Gavin Williamson,Braverman and Manston and Sunak saying the Government can't help everybody (meaning no one), it really is a big fuck you to the country. And somehow we're buying it...
