Bloody hell City in a European Cup final
I'm not sure who I'd rather play but Chelsea are becoming a team no one wants to play

No great surprise Stu
One of the most expensively assembled teams with one of the most expensive managers
True the other semi finalist was another team bankrolled by a rogue state with billions to spunk on players and coaching staff
Interesting that 3 out of the 4 semi finalists are bankrolled by billionaires willing to do whatever it takes moneywise to get their teams to the top of the tree. Arguably Real Madrid also fall into that category given the amount of loans and gifts they've had from the city authorities
Still, all that aside, I'd rather City win it than pretty much any other of the big teams - good luck in the final
I still hanker for the days when Forest, Villa, and Ipswich could win big European trophies

City have got to be favourites. Chelsea should have put four or five past a creaking Real defence, profligate finishing from a team who lack that killer striker. The Chelsea back three look solid but can they last 90 minutes of City swarming all over them. Dress rehearsal with the teams meeting this weekend, so we might learn something.

Could go to pens.
I'd really rather be playing someone else. But I bet they would too.

Funny that it's City v Chelsea in the Prem this weekend - chance for one team to get a psychological edge on their opponents?

Got to admit I was wrong about Tuchel,I thought he would struggle at Chelsea.Man City may be favourites but I think Chelsea will give them a run for their money.

Just proves what a terrible manager Lampard is. Or what a genius Tuchel is

Not feeling confident about Arsenal's chances tonight
It would be incredible if it was two all English finals though - in Champs League and Europa

Arsenal now in a worse position than when they let Emre go. Toothless and lacking any idea of how to break down a defence. Very little chance of them gaining another Europa slot. Seasons over with a whimper.

That's probably not even exaggerated for YouTube Hits.

Time for regime change at the Arse but it won't happen. They look pretty clueless with no energy from the players and a manager seemingly going backwards. Bring in someone new and give them 200m and they just may be a top 4 side again, otherwise more of the same next term.

Hard to see them splashing big bucks given the huge losses that Covid has inflicted plus no European footie next season. It's gonna be down to the youth. The leadership at the top of the club is the main problem. Last time the Arsenal were this low down the table it was 1995 and Stewart Houston was in charge. Over the summer they bought Bergkamp and Stewart Rioch took charge. Once it was clear that wasn't working Dein and co were decisive and in came Arsene Wenger - the rest is history! I can't see this board having anything like the insight and decisiveness to make a similar appointment

I can't see this board having anything like the insight and decisiveness to make a similar appointment Rioch was a strict diciplinarian, player power did for him. The great thing with Wenger was his knowledge of French players plus the great British style players that were the defensive core of the team plius his working relationship with Dein. Can't see a change without big investment now.

Rashford misses a sitter.🤣
Sub standard stuff by Man Utd but Villarreal look much stronger.
So being a neutral I'm going to plump for the latter.
Has anyone noticed how much OGS looks like Andy'Gollum' Serkis?
