Not sure if it was the nerves, the emotions of the moment were too much ...or 50 years of heavy smoking, but his vocals were really weak and flat.
It still baffles me that they were entered. PiL is not a irish solo act.

PiL is not a irish solo act. I haven't watched the Eurovision song contest since Bucks Fizz appeared and I wouldn't watch it just cos PiL were in it. There is nothing Irish about PiL at all. We had a relative from Ireland over at the weekend and she said the majority of Irish people including her 3 daughters wouldn't even know who he is or even heard of him😄 |

He's got Lydon's PiL and Pistols vocals and stage mannerisms down so well that it's kinda weird and impressive to watch.
I think Keith and Wobble probably got him in to play those gigs as a poke at Lydon... who'd probably been waffling to the press at that time, that PiL was all his own work.
