The introductory publisher's note set the alarm bells ringing. Ostensibly apologising for typos and words which may not exist because this is John "in his own words" but, having read the thing, I suspect it was as much an apology about the lack of any kind of editing
John is frequently not as interesting or entertaining as he thinks he is. He takes every opportunity to give an opinion on other people and frequently to settle a few scores. Let it go John. Better to say nothing than always want the last word. Reading it often felt like being trapped next to the pub bore who is slightly pissed, wants to hold court, and goes on endlessly whether you're interested or not

^^^^^I hadn't even read more than about 20 pages of it. When I read it I always hear his bloody dogmatic voice. He should get Julian Clary or Alan Carr to narrate his books. I think my Marky Ramone signed drumsticks are also ruined. You can get 'Anger is an Energy' for 99p in any cheapo book shop. I don't think I've any autographed anything by anyone. The only photo I have of myself with someone from a band is one of Charlie Harper and that was taken by someone else.😃

That's bloody annoying, Stu. Where/when did you get the Marky drumsticks?

That's bloody annoying, Stu. Where/when did you get the Marky drumsticks? Won them in a local radio phone in competition in the early 90s. They used to sell them at Ramones gigs too.

Official video for 'Hawaii' ...but of a cut 'n' paste/collage job from a Vintage Archive Footage Library, edited with the more contemporary, but compliments the song rather well. I like the song, more than i like Lydon

After the death of her father she inherited $120 million from his fortune Must still be a fair chunk of that left over I'd imagine

After the death of her father she inherited $120 million from his fortune Must still be a fair chunk of that left over I'd imagine With American health costs and the facts that she requires full time health care (which Lydon provides when off tour) it probably get's eaten up at an alarming rate. We all know Lydon can be a right twat, but his devotion to his wife is a lesson to everyone, even to the detriment of his own health.

John Lydon, the former Sex Pistols frontman, has failed in his bid to represent Ireland at Eurovision.
The 67-year-old had hoped his song Hawaii, about his wife Nora who lives with Alzheimer's, would be chosen "to bring awareness" to the disease.
Instead the band Wild Youth was chosen to fly the Irish flag at the song contest in Liverpool in May.
They're up against 14 other countries who'll be cut down to 10 in a semi-final.
Despite its record seven wins, Ireland has only qualified for the grand final twice since 2013.

I hear the live performance was not particularly good.
