Cosmic Psychos - She's A Lost Cause (1990)
I only ever saw this crew once, but that was a good night!

Got some new stock in for next week's reopen. Lot of shouty, almost unlistenable hardcore though this below does have an energy I can dig. Though it's a Dutch pressing the band hail from the US, any more info greatly appreciated.

Is there much of a market for shouty, almost unlistenable hardcore in Scarborough PU?

I have a few customers who are into that sort of thing. Bobs from Active Minds pops in occasionally for the Italian and Spanish anarcho obscurities. There's a band in this lot who hail from Brighton, pop punk not hardcore, Teasing Lulu. Do you know of them M'Lord?

I've seen the name out and about but have never seen them perform. Are they any good? I'm currently listening to... A superb easy listening/funk/soundtrack/jazz compilation that kicks off with a few tunes from the Get Carter soundtrack
I expect a few of you are already hip to its delights

I saw Active Minds few times back in the 80's and bought quite a few things from Loony Tunes records. What sort of Italian hardcore rarities are we talking about PU?Wretched, Negazione, Peggio Punks? Also, do you ever get anything in by the Dutch punk band Funeral Oration?

Is there much of a market for shouty, almost unlistenable hardcore in Scarborough PU? Theres a market for hardcore punk everywhere actually. However, its become such a misrepresented type of music in the modern punk world now with all the silly sub genres. I wouldn't confuse the classic hardcore sound with either 'crust' or 'powerviolence' which really is unlistenable drivel.

I can't recall many of the names at all and once they're sold it leaves my mind until the next batch comes around. However, I do remember having the Italian Hardcore band Cripple Bastard in, not a name to forget.
Just for posterity, some names in this batch, Septic Psychos, Otophobia, Zenigeva, Blood Sausage, Rupture, Timebombs, We Are The Rats, People's War, Barge, Riot System and The Slobs.

Other than Septic Psychos I've never heard any of them. Must be nighties/noughties stuff. The Italian hardcore scene of the 80's was genuinely exciting. They were also incredibly manic when performing.

Not'into' him as such but you couldn't help but notice him back in the day.
He used to send Tim Yohannon of MRR every record he made to review so he/they were quite prolific.
He must be the ultimate in punk rock. Makes Lemmy look like Aled Jones.

The antithesis of shouty almost unlistenable hardcore. This is exquisite baroque pop.

The Church - Almost With You (Sydney, 1982)
Wonderful psychedelic-tinged guitar pop. The band's still going last I heard about them
