I've noticed over the last year, on YouTube there are many people hosting 'Listening Posts' where they take requests to play a piece of music they have not heard before, by a band they know little about and discuss it. This guy is one of the more insightful and open minded, of the ones i have seen... Wow, that really struck a chord with him, looks like he had to have a moment to compose himself after listening to that. Great link Andy, cheers. These reaction videos are ten a penny but this one is a cut above . Thanks for sharing it . |

...yes, this guy actually takes time to soak up the lyrics and draw his own conclusions about the 'message' ...whilst admitting he is out of his comfort zone... but enjoys the learning experience. Many others are just cynical exploitation and a complete waste of time.

...i'm one of these 'No Jello, No Dead Kennedys' punters, so it's a no from me, especially as the ticket prices are in the region of £30. I'd rather support up and coming bands or go see Jello Biafra and the Guantanamo School of Medicine
...i would however love to see East Bay Ray And The Killer Smiles

The DK's without Jello is like Star Trek without Captain Kirk.. I saw them with Jello at the Lyceum ( '82? ), and then a couple of years ago at Concorde 2 in Brighton. I may well go to the Southampton gig, but it's over a year away so will think about it nearer the time. I'd prefer to see Jello & the GSM given the choice. |
