You tempted?
It's in one of my local cinemas and I suspect I'll be reliving it
Ziggy Stardust: The Global Premiere
Fifty years to the day since Bowie’s last show as his famous alter-ego, Ziggy Stardust returns to The Eventim Apollo Hammersmith (formerly the Odeon) on 3rd July for one night only.
For the 50th anniversary, ‘Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars: The Motion Picture’ is digitally restored with never-before-seen footage. The film will be unveiled at a red-carpet global premiere and the screening will be preceded by conversation live on stage with some of Bowie’s famous friends.
Fans will relive that iconic night in music history in the venue where it all happened exactly fifty years ago. The film features the complete set, including a performance by late guitarist Jeff Beck, which was cut from D A Pennebaker’s original version.
The event will be live streamed to cinemas across the UK and Europe, with screenings in cinemas worldwide throughout July.
Tickets for The Eventim Hammersmith Apollo on sale now here at davidbowie.com and cinema tickets on sale from Thursday 18 May also from: davidbowie.com

It's interesting how some people become untouchable icons, don't get me wrong, i love Bowie, but when he tries half a dozen musical style changes that don't work in the 60's he's a flop but do it again and be successful in the 70's and you're a genius surfing the zeitgeist. ... Could do with some objective writing on him rather than the usual hagiographies. No solo artist working in the popular music sphere before or since can beat David, and I'm speaking from a purely objective standpoint. Little Richard, Bob Dylan and Stevie Wonder had good runs but nothing that came close to the body of work he produced in his classic period.
