As World Cup finals go, it will probably go into the history books as one of the greatest of all time...
But... yes, i can't help thinking that all kinds of sleaze are going to finally come out and be made public about FIFA.
i do understand why some people did not watch it.

REally enthralling game with Argentina deserving it overall Keep hearing this today as if people have immediately forgotten that the first 75 minutes were completely 1 sided and not really that great a spectacle. It was the last 15 and extra time and pens that made it a great dramatic event when the French finally woke up. Great way to bow out for Messi though. |

I don't recall too many great World Cup finals to be honest.
As Doug says it was dramatic in parts but until towards the end of the 90 minutes pretty unremarkable.

Wasn't it on BBC as well? Yeah I watched it on BBC I just assumed Dixon and Matterface did the final as they seem to be ITV's go-to commentating duo. Despite being shit and unpopular. |
