Geo Storm
Thought 'this looks interesting' but then realised it had Gerrard Butler as the head scientist. Andy Garcia and Ed Harris must have had some pressing household bills to agree to take part. Mark Kermode is quoted as saying, "It takes stupid to a whole new level". He ain't wrong there.

I'm now on episode nine of Money HeistEver more enjoyable but also feintly ludicrous too. I've just realised there appears to be four series of these - have you watched the lot PU?
Two more episodes of Better Call Saul season five left - consistently good

Halfway season 2, broadening out a bit, events beyond the Mint. Still implausible in places but that is the fun of it.

Yeah, I think you just have to accept the implausibilities and just enjoy the ride

The 9th Precinct
Taiwanese Sixth Sense meets Men in Black albeit with smaller budget. Fair watch in these boring lockdown times but not if you've got other things to do.

First Team Juventus
If you liked Sunderland Till I Die then this is for you. One season with the black and whites with behind the scenes access. Multi millionaire stars seem quite down to earth and goalkeeper Buffon one of the most likeable of the lot.

Thanks PU - I'll have a bit of that
A few people have told me that the Michael Jordan basketball doc is a goodie too - apparently you don't need to know anything about basketball or particularly care

I'm now on episode nine of Money HeistEver more enjoyable but also feintly ludicrous too. I'm up to episode 11 now and poised to bail It's got many good points but I am finding the implausibilities increasingly hard to ignore I am also a bit daunted by the number of episodes still remaining I think I'll pause for now and then see if I want to go back to it after allowing a week or two to elapse

It comes to an exciting if yet far fetched conclusion at the end of season two. I'm not bothering with seasons 3 & 4 for a bit, maybe later in the year.
The actress who plays Tokyo though.... She could present a pre school kids programme and I'd watch it.

Barca Dreams
Another football doc but not just a season or two but the full history of the Catalan Club. From the amateur beginnings, Civil War, Di Stefano, Cruyff to Lionel Messi, it captures everything. Fabulous, deep footballing philosophies throughout.

Despite knowing feck all about basketball and I am thoroughly enjoying The Last Dance - which is about the Chicago Bulls and in particular Michael Jordan
I'd never realised what a ferocious competitor MJ was. The footage is extraordinary, as is the story
Highly recommended

Having finished The Last Dance I can confirm that it's a really engrossing and satisfying sports documentary - and I have no interest in basketball
Having tried and failed with both Money Heist and White Lines - I abandoned both after about five episodes, I am delighted to tell you about....
OZARK
...which I suspect may be old news to many of you
I love it
Great characters, brilliant acting, genuinely thrilling, and very atmospheric
Of course it's a bit implausible but, on this occasion, that is not intrusive as the characters are so good. Even the most minor characters are credible and interesting
I am totally hooked (at Season One, Episode Six)
Anyone else taken with it?
Any other top tips?
