The Light Pours Out of Me: The Authorised Biography of John McGeoch/Siouxsie And The Banshees – Jumping Jacks (Netherlands/Coventry Broadcast 1981) I am currently about three quarters of the way through reading this excellent book about the life and career of one of the most influential but overlooked guitarists of the last 45 years. Like most people of my generation, hearing 'Shot By Both Sides' by Magazine followed by their classic debut album 'Real Life' was what they now call a "game changer" - I loved what he brought to Siouxsie & The Banshees too and this recently released high quality unofficial CD of two Radio Broadcasts which bizarrely turned up in my local HMV is a rare opportunity to hear John at the height of his powers on guitar in a live setting. If you LOVE the early 80s Banshees, buy it if you see it!!

...Budgie was seriously ill, a year or two ago. Hope he's OK now, but i'm not sure if he's able to get back behind the kit or still getting his strength back.
Not sure how well Siouxsie and Steve are getting on these days. Steve acknowledges at the conclusion of the book on John McGeogh, that he was the best guitarist they ever had and after he left, the Banshees wasn't about four equal members anymore.

Didn't Siouxsie say in that last VLR piece that McGeoch and the others were 'jealous of her fame'? 🤔
I think McGeoch had more pressing problems to deal with at the time.

There's a podcast called Curious Creatures which is jointly hosted by Lol Tolhurst and Budgie I listen occasionally and he sounds healthy and happy, for what that's worth
