Yes, i posted this on my Facebook page earlier this week. Wonderful to see this direct from the master source, not on some battered bootleg video. Funny watching the kids larking about too... i bet Siouxsie was not amused!

I saw it on Ged's page. I must have a look at yours later. I don't go on FB much but it's a great source of music clips and other such cultural flotsam and jetsom
As you say, the quality is superb and rare to see that line up in such a long clip
The audience are entertaining - most of the Swiss yout not quite caught on to the new wave

Yes indeed! The Banshees are by some margin my favourite band of the late seventies and early eighties.

Yes, a great end to a great album. It's interesting that even at that early stage the Banshees were clearly influenced by progressive rock – given its length, tempo changes and highly literate lyrics, what else could one call "Switch"?

LOVED The Banshees to the extent that i painted this tribute on the back of my old leather jacket which was worn constantly like armour in the early 80s But can you spot the Schoolboy error here ?

...Yes. i still have the Jacket, although i have not worn it for well over 35+ years. As it's part of my life history, it's hard to bring myself to sell it though. Here it is in full...

Lovely slice of social history
Guessing Misfits trumped the Banshees when you painted it
That still the case?

The Edvard Munch painting used to get some interesting reactions from the great British public... especially when i lived in Taunton.

Said this in the old site but Siouxsie influence cannot be underestimated.
Has anyone read Jordan's book incidentally?
