Well, there is an alternative to Labour in Scotland and it's the SNP.
I've stated this ad nauseam.
Their is no alternative to Labour in England as they're also a right wing party.
Being 'down' on Labour is because they're a shower of murdering bastards who have blood on their hands in Iraq, Ireland, India, the list is endless.
Unless you dispute this of course.
That might not mean much to you but it means a lot to me.

Well, there is an alternative to Labour in Scotland and it's the SNP. I'm a paid up member of both parties; Labour because I believe they are the only viable party which offers a way forward for England, and SNP because if the Scots are not sending Labour MPs to Westminster they might as well go their own way and we can spend that Barnett formula money on something useful.

Thanks Rogue
I'm well aware of Labour's shortcomings - I share your revulsion over some of the things they have done
I also realise there is an alternative to Labour in Scotland which is exactly why I am curious about:
- Who you voted for in the 80s?
- Who you would vote now for if you lived in England?
- Which left wing groups or parties you think I should support?
And, of course...
- Did Crass convince you to go vegan?
- Or make any other dietary changes?
Thanks again

Its game over for Labour in England due to Brexit.

Thanks again 1)Communist Party, Scottish Socialist Party and SNP although I didn't agree with all they said. 2)No one as both are extreme right wing racist parties. 3)I've no idea 4)No I'm not a vegan 5)No

Yeah. Why did Crass fail to win you over? Shame there's no one to vote for in England, or even join I prefer not to waste my vote so go for the "least worst" option

Crass never really sang sings about animal rights. Probably Flux and Conflict were the main animal rights bands.
The'least worst' option means you're voting for racist warmongers who murder people and break International law.
By putting them in government you are responsible for this(as is everyone else).
Are you happy with that?

Are you happy with that? No First past the post is shit I'd far rather have a PR type system so voters could vote for who they really want Crass never really sang sings about animal rights. Probably Flux and Conflict were the main animal rights bands. My mistake For some reason I thought Crass very strong on animal rights, anti vivisection and - of course - veganism I'd thought it was a massive part of the lifestyle and subculture, and a big part of Crass's legacy I'm very disappointed to learn I've got that wrong Is that why the message did not cause you to change your lifestyle? Because Crass were not behind it? Or was it some other reason?

Wasn't PR kicked into touch a few years ago in the British parliament.
Theres no chance the Westminister carve up would low it.
Think We've been there before with Crass and Conflict, were you paying attention?
Crass were more about taking personal responsibility for your actions and espoused class war on their brilliant 'You're Already Dead'EP.
I'm not an anarchist but I'm not a Leninist either so I can see the points Crass were trying to make.
