999 - THE SHARPEST CUTS (ONE & TOO) Two great compilations of choice tracks from 1985 to 2007, all remastered and pressed in America with loving care and sounding good & punchy! A MUST for true fanatics. There are a myriad of different pressings of these records but these will do me nicely. Volume two, includes tracks from their self released Face To Face album and the live Lust Power & Money record that was recorded at the Klub Foot Hammersmith. There's ALOT more to be enjoyed by 999 way beyond, their releases on United Artists

Thanks Andy
Will be pursuing those
Is there any chance they'll play live in the UK again? I really enjoyed seeing them last time they were playing live

Here is a complete list of their UK gigs... Sat 30th March - Scarborough Punk Festival What can you tell us about the Scarborough Punk Festival PU? Will you be there? No, shop will be far too busy and the thought of standing in a crowd of fellow geriatrics for eight hours no longer appeals to me. Here's the poster with line up:

Not a bad line up
Wonder why 999 are right at the bottom?
They rank higher than Sham in my opinion

...i think it's because, in the grand scheme of things, Sham 69 sold alot more records (and went Top 20) in the UK than 999. Sham 69 with the original line up can sell out a venue that holds 500+ people, 999 cannot

It's something of a well worn cliché, to say there was alot of 'Love In The Room' for 999 in Bristol last saturday... but the fact is, it was true. People really do LOVE that band... myself included, They were simply STUNNING at the Louisiana, just so damn tight, having fun, entertaining the crowd and right on the money. It blows my tiny mind to think i have been given the chance to play gigs with them for well over the last decade.
