Morrissey

Never liked Morrissey or his music, but I find this amusing. If he held extreme left-wing views – up to and including supporting murderous despots like Stalin and Castro – nobody would bat an eyelid, but some fairly mild statements opposing immigration and multiculturalism have led numerous commentators to behave like one's easily offended maiden aunt.

I'm not sure For Britain truly qualifies as a far-right party, but they're certainly obsessed with Islam. The British public would never vote for a party like that in significant numbers, so they will never be more than a blip on the electoral landscape.

Morrissey, like John Lydon has reached a point where they are deluded on their own self-importance. I call it Sychophant Damage.
They crave attention and they will say anything if it gets them some media attention... positive or negative, they've reached a point where they don't care. Very sad really.

The last time i saw John Lydon was when PiL played the Rebellion Festival in the summer of 2018. Before they'd even played a note,
he went into a carcrash rant about Jeremy Corbyn being Anti-Semetic, called him a 'C**t'... and then bellowed "I AM JEW!!"
I watched and though, oh you silly Tabloid reading twat and walked out.

I don’t find it very difficult at all to separate music and musician but I understand it’s more difficult in some ways than it is in others. I don’t take it too seriously. There’s a case for not wanting to fund bad people by not buying their music and not attending their shows which I guess is fair enough also.

It's not difficult.

His music has always been pish and he's always been a helmet.

Finally, he's got the guts to be a more honest helmet now.
